Butylated UF Resin

Description

UF resin, also known as urea-formaldehyde resin, is a versatile material with a wide range of properties and applications. The product offers high gloss, hardness, and abrasion resistance when properly formulated. The glossy finish products enhance the appearance of various products, while its hardness and abrasion resistance make it durable and long-lasting.

UF resin is a popular choice for various coating applications, including acid-cured 2K coatings suitable for furniture, wood, steel, home appliances and automotive applications & baking finishes often used in industrial applications.

In addition to above, UF resins are used for other application such as manufacturing of MDF and plywood, textile adhesives & paper coatings.

Applications

PU Automotive Paint

The interiors and exteriors of trucks and cars feature many plastic parts. Depending on where the parts are located and what types of plastics are used, they may be protected with a variety of coating layers. Polyurethane (PU) systems provide a long-lasting, high-quality finish regardless of the number of layers.

Baking Alkyd Resin

Alkyd resins are manufactured from the condensation reaction between oil or polyols, acids, and alcohol. They are typically used as binders for coatings and printing inks. For lacquers in particular, nitrocellulose (NC) and CAB with excellent drying properties are used in combination with short oil alkyd resins that have low content of used oil.
