Description

 Polyamide resins are a family of synthetic polymers made from the condensation reaction of diamines and dicarboxylic acids or by the polymerization of amino acids or lactams. They are characterized by the amide linkages (-CONH-) in the molecular backbone, which contribute to their distinct properties. Polyamides are known for their high strength, elasticity, resilience, and resistance to wear, chemicals, and abrasion, making them widely used in various applications.


    The reactive polyamides are used with Epoxy Resins where Epoxy Groups react with Amine Groups to form the Epoxy Polyamide crosslinked film structure. The reactive Polyamides have got wide applications in the industrial and automotive coatings.
