PRINCIPAL PROPERTIES
MACROLIC TSA-8219 is hydroxyl functional thermosetting acrylic resin developed for use in low bake baking system for auto body paints and lacquers.MACROLIC TSA-8219 is recommended for the development of the acrylic based vehicle refinish lacquersor paints having Excellent Petrol and Oil resistance.

REACTION RATIO
MACROLIC TSA-821960% should be mixed with amino resins. Recommended ratios are 75:25 or 80:20 onsolid basis cooked at 120°C Temperature. Use of 5-10% of Acid catalyst soln. (20% of PTSA in Xylene) is acceptableat lower cooking temperature around 80°C Temperature.
SOLVENTS
The solvents chosen for paints and lacquers based on MACROLIC TSA-8219 60% are Xylene,Toluene, EstersGlycol Ethers. It is having limited solubility in alcohols.
