PRINCIPAL PROPERTIES
MACROLIC TSA-1001 is hydroxyl functional thermosetting acrylic resin developed for use in low bake baking system for auto body paints and lacquers.
MACROLIC TSA-1001 is recommended for the development of the acrylic based vehicle refinish lacquers orpaints having following characteristics.

REACTION RATIO
MACROLIC TSA-1001 M 60% should be mixed with amino resins. Recommended ratios are 75:25 or 80:20on solid basis cooked at 120°C Temperature Use of 5-10% of Acid catalyst soln. (20% of PTSA in Xylene) isacceptable at lower cooking temperature around 80°C Temperature.
SOLVENTS
The solvents chosen for paints and lacquers based on MACROLIC TSA-1001 60% are Xylene, Toluene, EsterGlycol Ethers. It is having limited solubility in alcohols.
