REACTION RATIO
The reaction ratio is calculated from the respective equivalent weight or hydroxyl and isocyanate content of the reactants.Conventional polyisocyanates such as Desmodur N75 and AR - 75 can be used successfully.
CATALYSTS
To increase the initial rate of cure of MACROLIC-8246 70% based paints, at both ambient temperature and under lowbake conditions, the use of tin catalyst in the form of Di Butyl tin Di Laurite is strongly recommended
SOLVENTS
The solvents chosen for paints and lacquers based on MACROLIC-824670% should be free of water and should notcontain groups that react with isocyanates. Ester and Ketones are True solvents and aromatic hydrocarbons are used as diluentsfor this system.
