PRINCIPAL PROPERTIES
MACROLIC-8061 is hydroxyl functional acrylic copolymer designed to crosslink at room temperaturewith polyisocyanate.

Reaction Ratio:
The reaction ratio is calculated from the respective equivalent weight or hydroxyl and isocyanate content of the reactants.
Conventional polyisocyanates such as Desmodur N75 and AR - 75 can be used successfully.
Catalysts:
To increase the initial rate of cure of MACROLIC 8061 60% based paints, at both ambient temperature and under lowbake conditions, the use of tin catalyst in the form of Di Butyl tin Di Laurite is strongly recommended
Solvents:
The solvents chosen for paints and lacquers based on MACROLIC -8061 -60% should be free of water and should notcontain groups that react with isocyanates. Ester and Ketones are True solvents and aromatic hydrocarbons are used as diluentsfor this system.
