MACROLIC 7055
Download Technical Data Sheet
High solid acrylic resin with low viscosity for general purpose industrial and maintenance coatings.
PRINCIPAL PROPERTIES
High Solids Thermosetting acrylic Resin used in combination with isocyanate hardener gives goodgloss and good gloss retention. High solids with low viscosity required lower amount of isocyanatehardener.
APPLICATION
- AIR DRYING
CHARATERSTICS
- FAST DRYING TWO PACK COATING FOR THE INDUSTRIAL LACQUER SECTOR
- GOOD HARDNESS
- EXCELLENT FLOW & LEVELLING
- GOOD GLOSS
- HIGH SOLIS WITH LOW VISCOSITY REQUIRE LOW ISOCYNATE HARDNER.

REACTION RATIO
The reaction ratio is calculated from the respective equivalent weight or hydroxyl and isocyanate content of the reactants.Conventional polyisocyanates such as Desmodur N75 and AR - 75 can be used successfully.
CATALYSTS
To increase the initial rate of cure of MACROLIC 7055 – 70% based paints, at both ambient temperature and under lowbake conditions, the use of tin catalyst in the form of Dibutyl tin Dilaurate is strongly recommended.
SOLVENTS
The solvents chosen for paints and lacquers based on MACROLIC -7055 70% should be free of water and should notcontain groups that react with isocyanates. Ester and Ketones are True solvents and aromatic hydrocarbons are used as diluentsfor this system.
